Tuesday’s Time

Be thou exalted, Lord, in thy own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power (Psalm 21:13).
God is higher than man, not because of man but because of God. Because of whom God is; because of what God is: God is lifted above all. God is lifted up above all things and all people; God is lifted up above all powers and all precepts; God is lifted up above all situations and scenarios; God is lifted up above all governors and governments; God is lifted up above all.
When we begin to understand God, then we begin to understand man and when we begin to understand man, we begin to understand the need to serve, praise and worship God. Thus, the psalmist said: “so will we sing and praise.” God is worthy of our praise and honor; God is worthy of our love and adoration; and God is worthy of our heart, soul, mind and strength. Having some understanding of God, we stand in awe, because He is to be exalted.
God is exalted, we just have to make sure we exalt Him in our lives. For God not to be exalted, would be for God to cease being God. That is the case in our lives, when we fail to exalt God in our lives. When we fail to exalt God in our lives, He ceases to be God and becomes a god. God will never accept being a god. Why? Because, He is God and He is worthy.
Today, let us realize the privilege we have to call God our Father; let us realize the love we enjoy because of our Father and let us realize the hope we hold because of our Father. Therefore, let us exalt God in our lives, knowing that He has promised to lift us up in due time (I Peter 5:6).
