Tuesday’s Time

But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for you, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee (Psalm 5:11).
Do you trust God? The question itself presents the fact of an option. You have the option to trust God or you have the option not to trust God. There are consequences for either of the options, but with one the consequences are good and with the other the consequences are bad.
The word translated “trust” carries the idea of: refuge or protection. Do you find refuge and do you find protection with God? Remember, God is able: God is able to save you; God is able to deliver you; God is able to give you life; God is able to forgive your sins; God is able to protect you and God is able to do what no one else can do. Do you trust God?
When we truly trust God, then we can truly rejoice. We have true joy, because we know what God has done in the past, therefore we know what God will do in the future and we know what God is doing in our lives. We live lives of joy because of the safety and security we enjoy from God. God knows the storms that come into our lives and God is the One who can bring peace in the storms.
We have joy from God because we know the love of God. Those who do not know love, do not know true love, for God is love. Those who know God, trust God and those who trust God, know love. We rejoice in the love of God.
Put your trust in God and have joy in your life.
