Tuesday’s Time

While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praise unto my God while I have any being (Psalm 146:2).

When will you praise God? Where will you praise God? How often will you praise God? To what extent will you praise God? The psalmist answered these questions with this thought: as long as there is life in my body, I will praise God.

We can and we must praise God, as long as we have life, because God is worthy. God is the One who makes life possible and God is the One who gives life abundantly. A life without God is not a lesser life; a life without God, is death.

The life of the child of God is a life of service unto God; the life of the child of God is a life of praise unto God. The child of God, praises God in every aspect of life. The child of God praises God when the blue birds are singing; the child of God praises God when the storm clouds are brewing; the child of God praises God when this life seems without end and the child of God praises God when the end of life is before our eyes. God is worthy.

God is worthy and we are honored to have the opportunity to praise God in this life and the life to come. The child of God praises God in the life, so that he can praise God in eternal life. Those who choose not to praise God in this life, will not have the opportunity to praise God in eternal life. One would think, the excuses used in not praising God in this life, will echo through the mind eternally.

Let us use this life to praise God, so that we will be prepared to praise God eternally. God is worthy.
