Tuesday’s Time

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God (Psalm 50 23).
Worship does not make one right; worship is the privilege of those who are right. The word translated “conversation” in this text could also be translated “conduct.” God is glorified when those whom He seeks, worships Him as He seeks (John 4:23-24). As “true worshippers” we should be honored to know that God is pleased with our praise. The world’s population approaches 7.5 billion, of that number a very small percentage are those invited to worship God. What an amazing privilege; what an amazing honor.
Worship unto God must never be taken for granted; worship unto God must never be nonchalant; worship unto God must never be haphazard. In worship, we are in the presence of the great I Am; in worship, we are in the presence of the Self-Existent One; in worship, we are in the presence of the giver of life; in worship, we are in the presence of the One who loves us more than any other; in worship, we are in the presence of the One who makes eternal life possible; in worship, we are in the presence of God.
There will be a day when all will be in the presence of God and on that day God will be our judge. But, now God is our Savior; God is our deliver and God is our Redeemer. Let us bring praise, honor and glory to His name,  through our obedience; let us bring praise, honor and glory to His name, through our worship.
Each Lord’s Day give thanks unto God for the privilege of being allowed to worship Him.
