Thursday’s Thought

Thy throne is established from old: thou art from everlasting (Psalm 93:2).
The psalmist wrote concerning the eternality and omnipotence of God. God is sovereign and there is none like Him. God is the one who should and must be ruler in our lives.
Man is not sovereign above all others; man is not eternal; man is not omnipotent; man is not omniscient; man is not God.
Nature is not sovereign above all others; nature is not eternal; nature is not omnipotent; nature is not omniscient; nature is not God.
Society is not sovereign above all others; society is not eternal; society is not omnipotent; society is not omniscient; society is not God.
Governments of men are not sovereign above all others; governments of men are not eternal; governments of men are not omnipotent; governments of men are not omniscient; governments of men are not God.
The One who is eternal; the One who is omnipotent; the One who is omniscient; the One who is sovereign, loves us. God loves us, like no other loves us. What an amazing thought; what an amazing fact. Each day, let us meditate upon God, His word and His love. In doing so, we will establish and strengthen our faith and love for God.
In this world of uncertainties, we can always know that God rules and reigns now and forever.
