About Us

You are always welcome at the Logan Martin Church of Christ. You will be greeted by a friendly group of people who desire for you the absolute best. Our desire toward God is to love, obey and serve Him. Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). Our prayer is that you enjoy your visit as together we worship the one and true God. If you have any questions, please ask. If you have any concerns, please let us know. If we need any corrections, please tell us and you will be our dearest friend.

The Beginning

The Logan Martin Church of Christ met, in this location, for the first time on August 4, 1974. But, Logan Martin had its beginning in Jerusalem as recorded in Acts 2. This is a congregation of the church: promised by Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18); established by the apostles (Acts 2:14); built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ as the Son of God (Ephesians 2:20) and with Jesus as the head of the church (Colossians 1:18).

The Work

Jesus said that He came to this world to “seek and to save that which was lost”. This is also the work of the church. This ultimate goal is carried out through three primary avenues: evangelism, edification and benevolence. All three of these works were manifested in the life of Christ; all three of these works must be manifested in the followers of Christ.

The End

Physical death or the end of the world is not the end. It is recorded in the Bible that one day Christ will return to take home to Heaven, His bride the church.  The Logan Martin Church of Christ wants to be in that number and to help all others be a part of that number.
