Tuesday’s Time

Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place (Psalm 24:3)?
Who will be saved eternally? The psalmist answered this question in the next verse: those who have clean hands, pure hearts and have given their souls unto God. Jesus Christ left the beauty of Heaven and came to the world to die on the cross because of the sins of the world. The death of Jesus did not save anyone, but it did make salvation available to everyone. The only way to be saved eternally is through the death of Jesus; without the shed blood of Jesus there is no hope and no salvation. But through the death of Jesus: hope is manifested; salvation is available and forgiveness of sin is possible.
Who will be saved eternally? Jesus said, Come unto me all ye that labor… Jesus makes salvation available to all and all who are saved, will be saved through Christ. The Hebrews writer wrote that Jesus is the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him. Jesus stated that He is the only way to the Father in Heaven.
Let us not be ashamed of Christ, but rather, let us tell the world of the One who has made salvation possible. Let us tell the world of the One who died so that we can live eternally. Let us tell the world of the One who makes it possible for us to live in Heaven eternally. Let us tell the world of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
