Tuesday’s Time

Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve (Job 39:1)?
God questioned Job. God desired Job to consider the things he knows and the infinite number of things he does not know. God knows all, but man does not even know what he does not know. At times, mankind thinks himself so wise and indispensable, but a small thing quickly reminds us of how fragile and weak we are. Things about which man rarely thinks, God handles every second of every day. Things on the other side of the world, about which we know nothing, God handles every second of every day. Things about which we often forget, God handles every second of every day.
Have you ever forgotten anything? Perhaps, to put gas in the car; to turn the stove off; to turn the stove on; to set the alarm clock; to take some medicine; an appointment; someone’s name; someone’s birthday. Have you ever forgotten anything? God has not.
Do you know everything? Do you know everything about everything? Do you know exactly how many people are in the world? Do you know the names of every person in the world? Do you know how many hairs are on the heads of every person in the world? Do you know how many stars are in the sky and their location? Do you know every fish in the depths of the oceans? Do you know the thoughts and the desires of every person in the world? Do you know…? God does.
Now, let us think of God and think of ourselves; let us humble ourselves before God and serve Him faithfully.
