Monday’s Moment

How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of woman (Job 25:4)?

Bildad, the Shuhite, asked these questions in accusation against Job. Job had stated his confusion about the situation, while his friends replied the issue was the egregious sins of Job. Perhaps, Bildad’s motives were not pure, but the questions he asked are legitimate. These questions should be asked by every individual, because God says all have sinned. How can a man be justified before a holy God; how can an unclean man be made clean?

There is one and only one answer to these two questions: the blood of Jesus Christ is the answer to man’s sin problem. Even though Job lived under the Patriarch Age, Jesus is the answer. Jesus is the answer because His blood flows from the cross of Calvary forward to the end of time and backwards to the beginning of time (Hebrews 9:15). The blood of Jesus Christ covered those who were faithful unto God under the Patriarch and Mosaic Ages as well as the Christian age.. In the blood of Christ man is justified before God; in the blood of Christ man filthy with sin is washed clean.

God has provided the way, but we have to make sure we follow the way.
